Not at all! Our lessons are open to everyone, from complete beginners to experienced musicians.

Yes, we provide shamisens for you to use during lessons, so you don’t need to bring your own. If you would like to continue practicing at home, we also offer rental and purchase options.

Just bring yourself and your curiosity! We’ll prepare the instruments, materials, and everything else you need.

Our lessons are mainly taught in English. If needed, we can also provide explanations in Japanese or Chinese.

A standard lesson is 60 minutes.

Like any instrument, it takes practice, but many students are surprised at how quickly they can play their first song. The most important thing is to enjoy the process :)

We collaborate with MUYŌ Cultural Space in Helsinki, and lessons are also available in other locations (helsinki) depending on the schedule.If you prefer remote learning, online lessons can also be arranged.
